On Friday 31st January, the Preston Angel Sharks took on Babbacombe in their last league game of the season, knowing a win would crown the girls as Champions of Torbay. During the first half, the girls showed a lot of determination constantly putting pressure on Babbacombe. This finally paid off when Hollie broke forward to score for the Angel Sharks and put us 1-0 up. The defence made up of Holly and Tayla were very strong throughout the game, being helped out by stand-in goalkeeper, Lizzie.

During the second half, the girls began to work even harder with Ava, Keeley, Emily and Teegan all battling to make sure we kept the lead. A few minutes from the end, Hollie scored her second goal of the game to make the final score 2-0! Preston were crowned Champions of Torbay for the second year in a row. The girls were a credit to the school and showed our school values throughout the match. Well done girls!
