As a whole school, we promote a love of reading through a variety of activities. This week we held ‘Rock Up and Read’ sessions across all units. These are opportunities for families to come into the classroom and read a fantastic range of books with their child. These sessions enable dedicated time to have quality book talk between adult and child; a time to discuss and share opinions about what is being read. It was wonderful to see so many families across the whole school enjoying reading together and getting lost in a good book.
