Dear Parents and Carers
We find ourselves at the end of another busy term, the children have worked so hard and everyone is ready for a hard earned rest! This week we have been talking about the Christian story of Easter and thinking about the symbols associated with this religious festival. We have also had an Easter egg hunt!
When we return we will be thinking about growing and linking our learning to the traditional tale of Jack and the Beanstalk.
In maths we will be reviewing what we have learnt so far and thinking about counting and number recognition.
We have had a lovely term and know that the children are settled, happy and making good progress. Well done to them all, and thank you for your continued support and kind words and wishes.
Ideas for supporting your child’s learning at home this week:
- You could try to keep a holiday diary. Draw a picture and label it, or write a sentence daily, to show all the things the children do over the Easter holidays.
- Science Experiment - Growing your bean
We hope you have a wonderful Easter holiday.
