On Monday 1^st April, Unit 4 took part in a beach clean at Preston Sands. The weather and tides were perfect for the clean and the children were fantastic. The children found a wide variety of litter at the beach, which included: fishing equipment, polystyrene, confetti, plastic bottles, balloons and dog leads. The whole event was a fabulous opportunity for the children to share their understanding of our school values of responsibility and teamwork; they worked so well as a team and through their efforts prevented many pieces of litter from causing future damage in our oceans. Well done Unit 4!
