Contract: Permanent position within a growing Trust.

Base: Primarily across our Trust schools within Torbay with opportunities to work across the wider Trust schools on occasion.

Hours: 37 hours per week, term time plus 4 weeks.

Salary: FTE £20,852 to £23,484 per year depending on skills, experience and performance

Connect Academy Trust, a multi-academy Trust currently consisting of 8 schools across the Torbay and Plymouth areas, has an exciting opportunity for an IT Technician to join our shared services team as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be required to work across our schools based within Torbay (currently 3 large primary schools) but there may be occasions when working across the wider Trust could be required (for which travel expenses would be claimable).

This key post is to support the Trust’s IT Manager in ensuring that the IT Team provides a high quality support service to all staff and pupils within the Trust. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to work with some of the latest technology and working practices.

 Key responsibilities will include:-

• Assisting with the resolution of IT helpdesk calls
• Assisting in the use of IT within the school environment through the maintenance of IT software, hardware and related peripherals
• Developing high quality relationships with all users of IT facilities
• Involvement in IT Projects across the Trust
