Our Art & Design Curriculum aims to engage, inspire, and challenge all children, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to experiment and invent.

Last week, Unit 2 had the opportunity to step into the world of watercolours with the enchanting local artist, Jo Lindsay. Mrs Lindsay trained as a Costumier at Glyndebourne Opera House, before moving into working for TV, Film and Theatre. She worked on The Wombles, Superman, The Railway Children, and a number of Agatha Christies.

Mrs Lindsay gently guided and inspired our children to delve into creating their own masterpieces. The children were spellbound by Mrs Lindsay, and she certainly gave them an opportunity to immerse themselves in their love of learning.

We are very grateful to Mrs Lindsay for giving up her time, as she has also worked with Unit 4, and is visiting Unit 3 this week.
