Connect Games Netball Tournament

Connect Games Netball Tournament

April 24, 2026

A team of year 5/6 girls recently took part in an exciting Connect Games netball tournament competing against teams from Cockington and Eden Park Primary Schools. The event was filled with energy, teamwork, and plenty of smiles as our players enjoyed the opportunity to test their skills in a friendly competitive environment.

Across the matches, we experienced a mix of wins and losses but the real highlight was the fantastic gameplay and the chance for everyone to develop confidence and teamwork on the court. The children showed great sportsmanship throughout and supported one another brilliantly. This event also forms part of our “30 Ways to Connect” offer, giving pupils the opportunity to represent the school.

A special thank you goes to Torquay Academy whose students supported the event by umpiring the games. Also thank you to Cockington Primary for hosting the event. It was a wonderful experience for all involved and we are very proud of how our team represented Preston.
