Harvest Celebrations

This week, we have been enjoying our Harvest celebrations. At this special time of year, we think about others and how we can give our time or energy to help those who need it.

Reverend Nathan from St Paul's shared a great assembly with us this week all about Harvest and why it is important to look out for other people and think about how you can be helpful. He told us the story of Ruth and Naomi from the Bible where a kind landowner called Boaz shared his grain and food with people who had nothing. This encouraged us to think about how we can be good citizens by sharing what we have especially at Harvest time. We are always grateful to Reverend Nathan for coming to visit our school and spreading his messages of kindness and positivity.

We are also very grateful to our families for your support and the wonderful donations of tinned and dried foods that have been donated to Feed a Child Torbay. These donations will help fill up lots of parcels of healthy, filling meals for families as well as including some nice treats.

This also helps our children to achieve number 20 of our 30 Ways to Connect - Take part in improvements to our local community.
