Into the Woods with Year 5 and 6!

This week, Year 5 and 6 enjoyed an exciting learning experience in the woods, stepping into the role of The Wolf to explore how a writer’s choice of register can change the impact of a piece of writing. Through drama, performance, and discussion, pupils used their oracy skills to develop character voices, express ideas confidently, and adapt their language for different audiences and purposes.

Working together to create and perform their interpretations, the children demonstrated our School Value of Teamwork, supporting one another, sharing ideas, and building confidence as performers. It was fantastic to see such creativity, collaboration, and engagement in bringing their learning to life!
