Literacy

The children in Units 3 and 4 enjoyed the opportunity to share their literacy work with each other at the end of this half term. Year 3s worked beautifully with Year 6s to listen and share their work, while Year 4s shared with Year 5s. Everyone treated each other with respect, and the creativity shown in their writing was outstanding.

Year 3 and 4 have been working hard on writing a story in the style of The Beasties by Jenny Nimmo and have enjoyed creating their own rhyming poems based on a topic of their choosing. Year 5 and 6 have created very villainous character profiles putting themselves in the villain’s shoes, along with some sea and river-based poetry.

We have enjoyed watching the children enjoy each other’s work and sharing their Love of Learning.
