Love to Learn

Children in the Owl classes and the Nest joined an online author event today with Julia Donaldson! It was a delight for the children, featuring Julia Donaldson reading her new book, Gruffalo Granny. A special highlight was a draw-along with Axel Scheffler, who guided viewers step-by-step as he illustrated Gruffalo Granny, giving everyone the chance to create their own character drawings. Adding to the fun, Julia and a cast of actors performed scenes from the beloved Gruffalo story, delighting the audience with their animated characters and engaging performances. The event was interactive, entertaining, and full of creativity, offering a memorable opportunity to hear from the author, watch live illustration, and experience the magic of storytelling first hand.
