Meadfoot House Charity Event
Meadfoot House Charity Event

A tremendous well done to our Meadfoot House Captains – Lydia, Jacob, Ivy, and Alfred – who organised a fantastic fundraising event in support of Cancer Research. The House Captains planned and led a range of excellent activities to raise money, including creating art and craft packs, running a bean bag throw game, and organising a higher or lower card game.
Thank you to all the families who kindly donated to take part in the different activities. Thanks to this generous support, the House Captains proudly raised over £50 for Cancer Research. This money will help Cancer Research continue its vital work in funding research, improving treatments, and supporting those affected by cancer.
This event is a wonderful demonstration of our School Value of Teamwork, with the whole school community coming together to support a charity and make the fundraiser such a success. It also reflects our School Aim of ‘Be a Good Citizen’, showing care, kindness, and a commitment to helping others. We are incredibly proud of the initiative and responsibility shown throughout.
This links directly to our 30 Ways to Connect – Number 5: Raise Money for a Charity. Across their time in primary school, we strive for all children to experience these opportunities, enriching their learning beyond the curriculum, and helping them become thoughtful, compassionate future citizens.
