Rotary Club Competitions

July 3, 2026

The Rotary Club recently hosted two exciting competitions, a Young Writer and a Young Photographer competition, which centred around the theme 'Happiness in Nature'. Children were encouraged to interpret the theme in their own unique way, using creativity and imagination to express what happiness in nature means to them.

We are incredibly proud of Trixie, Grace, Mia, Freya, Rosie, Alice, and Ayda for their participation in this fantastic competition. The children wrote wonderful poems and captured excellent photographs, all inspired by the theme. Their entries demonstrated their School Values of Creativity, Independence and Determination wonderfully.

A special congratulation goes to Trixie, who was presented with a prize for her contribution to the Young Photographer competition, and to Freya, who was presented with a prize in the Young Writer competition. Their achievements reflect the hard work and enthusiasm shown by all of the children who took part.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Rotary Club for their generous donation of £200 towards books for our school library, which was presented to our Reading Ambassadors. This wonderful gift will help us to continue fostering a love of reading and learning across the school.
