Starlings Sports Festival

Starlings have enjoyed participating in number 12 of our 30 Ways to Connect this week: Representing our school. At the Paignton Academy Tag Rugby festival, the children all showed wonderful Teamwork, Determination, and Respect, not only to each other but also to pupils from the other schools. The skills they practised included tagging, throwing, catching, and spotting where they needed to be to help their teammates. The class loved taking part in mini matches and showed wonderful sportsmanship whether they won or lost. It was heart-warming to see the children shaking hands with the opposition after a tense match. We are very proud of them all!
