Unit 2 Geography

In Geography this week, Unit 2 enjoyed taking part in some local fieldwork. We visited the shops on Roundhill Road and Broad Park to help us learn more about the human and physical features in our local area. The children carried out a simple survey, asking members of the public why they were visiting Livermead, and used a pictogram to record their findings. We then visited Broad Park to compare the two locations. After the trip, the children used what they had learned to create their own maps of the local area.
