Unit 4 Ocean Workshop

To support our Ocean curriculum, Unit 4 took part in an online interactive workshop, touring some of the key areas of the National Marine Aquarium and focusing on real-world ocean issues. We explored the topic of advocacy and how it can be used to create positive change.

The children have come away with the knowledge and confidence to really #ThinkOcean. By completing Number 17 of our 30 Ways to Connect - Learning at the National Marine Aquarium - pupils developed a greater appreciation of our oceans and the importance of protecting them for future generations. This linked perfectly with our School Value of Responsibility, as the children reflected on the role they can play in caring for our planet and speaking up for positive change.
