The children in Woodpeckers Class were very lucky to have some furry visitors on Friday! Coco, Oreo, and Mocha — three adorable guinea pigs — came to meet the class and inspire their writing. The visit provided a perfect stimulus for their explanation texts on how to care for an animal. The children showed our School Value of Responsibility in abundance and demonstrated our School Aim of ‘Love to Learn’ as they fed, groomed, and cared for their new guinea pig friends. This is a wonderful example of a '30 Ways to Connect' experience.
