Puffins & Penguins Trip to the Theatre

One of our 30 Ways to Connect experiences is ‘watch a live show’ and this week Puffins and Penguins did exactly that! They had a wonderful adventure as they headed to the Theatre Royal in Plymouth to watch The Enormous Turnip, performed by theatre company 'Stuff and Nonsense'. The children were on the edge of their seats. They were captivated from start to finish clapping, laughing, and marvelling at the lively storytelling on stage.

The clever puppetry brought the characters and the garden to life. Nothing topped the excitement when the truly enormous turnip was finally pulled from the ground! The children were amazed, delighted, and full of chatter all the way home.

It was a fantastic opportunity for them to experience live theatre, spark their imaginations, and enjoy a much loved tale brought to life in such a colourful and engaging way. They represented the school beautifully and we are so proud of how enthusiastic and curious they were throughout the trip.
