Unit 3 Bikeability

We were lucky to welcome the team from Bikeability Torbay into school this week to run Level 1 workshops with some of our Year 3 children. Children learnt how to be ‘pedal ready’ by checking the condition of their bike, learning how to set off and stop safely as well as signal their direction of travel. The children who took part showed wonderful respect throughout the sessions and we are proud of them all. Learning how to cycle safety is an important skill for the children as they grow older to keep them and other road users safe, and we are pleased to play a part in helping children to learn this. Everyone who took part showed a love of learning through their careful listening and having a go at new skills. Well done!
