English and Science Enrichment

Last week, a small group of Year 5 children went to visit Churston Ferrers Grammar School for an English and Science morning. They took part in a variety of activities including, exploring and writing their own blurb, exploring the colours in black ink, and electrical circuits. The children had a fun and interactive morning and learnt lots of new information. They also had a tour of the school to look at the classrooms and facilities available in a local secondary school. We were delighted to be invited to this event as it supports our School Aim of 'Love to Learn'. The teachers at Churston commented on the children’s respectfulness and enthusiasm throughout the morning. Well done Year 5s. Thank you to Churston Ferrers Grammar school for continuing to invite our children to these events.
