Geology in Torbay

This week, Unit 3 were treated to a fascinating assembly and workshop led by Rich from Taleblazers, who brought the world of geology to life for our children.
Rich shared his experiences as a Geologist and took us on a journey through the extraordinary geology of Torbay, helping the children to understand how our local landscape was formed. He also brought along a fantastic collection of rocks from around the globe, which the children were thrilled to investigate and handle, using some of the equipment geologists use when out exploring rocks.
Our pupils showed great curiosity and enthusiasm throughout, and we were especially proud of how they demonstrated our School Value of Respect to our visitor and embodied our School Aim to 'Love to Learn'.
