Huge Congratulations to the Preston Primary School Choir!

On Friday 13th March, our amazing choir sang their hearts out in the Junior Choir section of the Torbay Music Festival at Central Church. Competing against other local school choirs, they impressed everyone and were awarded First Place with Honours, achieving an outstanding score of 89 and taking home the 'Observer Cup'!

Every child in the choir represented Preston Primary School brilliantly, demonstrating all of our School Values throughout the event - from their dedication in rehearsals to their teamwork, confidence, and respectful behaviour on the day.

Both the audience and the adjudicator were absolutely wowed by their wonderful singing and expressive performance skills. The adjudicator's comments were full of praise. For their performance of Stand by Me, she wrote: "Vocal tone was strong and projected with a super bold chorus and always excellent rhythm. You brought the sunshine to us with this energetic musical performance!"

We are so incredibly proud of every single one of our talented choir members - what an amazing achievement.
