Lego Learning Together - "Cargo Connect" Celebration!
Lego Learning Together Event
Foundation recently hosted an exciting LEGO Learning Together event, bringing children and families together for a joyful celebration of creativity, teamwork, and discovery. Over the past 10 weeks, Puffins and Penguins have been immersed in the exciting “Cargo Connect” Lego Discovery Programme. They explored how packages are transported in their community and across the world to different destinations. During the project, students engaged in activities that strengthened their STEM skills—from designing efficient transport systems to solving complex problems and sharing creative ideas. Working in teams, they developed their understanding of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in a fun, meaningful way.
The celebration event was a wonderful opportunity for children to share their learning and for families to join in the fun. We are incredibly proud of the children for using their school values and building imaginative and innovative solutions. We are particularly impressed with their progress and understanding of Teamwork. Throughout the programme they demonstrated turn taking, good listening and skills of being able to compromise. All essential skills for the future, linking to our School Aim ‘Ready for Work’.
It has been a pleasure celebrating the children’s learning journey. To mark the end of this inspiring project, each child proudly received a certificate recognising their dedication, collaboration, and innovation. Well done everyone!
