Meadfoot House Charity Bake Sale

Our fantastic Year 6 House Captains from Meadfoot House hosted a brilliant bake sale in support of their chosen charity, Torbay Mencap. We are delighted to share that they raised over £135 –with some cakes left over for an additional sale today after school! A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the children and families who generously donated an incredible variety of sweet treats, and to everyone who came along, contributed to this worthy cause, and enjoyed some delicious cakes.

This event reflects one of our School Aims of ‘Be a Good Citizen’, encouraging pupils to make a positive impact in their local community and develop a strong sense of social responsibility. Beyond the impressive fundraising total, the bake sale also showcased our School Value of Teamwork. It was truly inspiring to see our pupils and families unite for such a meaningful cause. The success of this event not only supports the wonderful work of Torbay Mencap, but also highlights the importance of empathy, kindness, and community spirit within our school.
