Parent Maths Workshop - Building Number Sense in Foundation

This week, we welcomed Foundation parents into school for a hands on Maths Workshop focused on developing early number sense. Together, we explored how key skills such as subitising, counting, and number composition form the foundation of confident mathematical thinking. Parents had the chance to see these strategies in action and learn simple ways to support their child’s learning at home. The session ended with a range of fun, practical activities for parents and children to enjoy together, making maths meaningful, playful, and engaging for all. Thank you to everyone who attended.
