Poetry Performance

Last week, the whole school came together on the astroturf for a poetry performance! Each class learned a poem off by heart, added creative actions, and performed with clear, confident voices. It was wonderful to see such a wide variety of poems and poets being brought to life, with every child showing enthusiasm, imagination, and creativity in their performance.

This event was a brilliant example of our School Aim 'Love to Learn' - children were reading for pleasure, exploring language, and sharing their love of poetry with their whole school community. A voice recording of the performances will be shared in this half term's Reading Newsletter, later this week. Well done to all of Preston Primary for your amazing performances!
