Ready for Work
Ready for Work

As part of our Learning Enquiry 'When I Grow Up', a parent recently visited Foundation to talk to the children about his role as a Postman. He helped the children understand how Postal Delivery Workers help our community by delivering letters and parcels, ensuring important messages reach people safely and on time. This links to our School Aim of 'Ready for Work'.
The children had the opportunity to ask questions and learn about what a Postman did each day, the uniform he wore, and how he helped others through his job.
This visit linked closely to our School Values. The children were ready by listening carefully and thinking of questions, were respectful by showing good manners and attention to our visitor, and were kind by thanking him for his time and learning how his job helps people in our community. Thank you so much, Mr Shepstone!
