Teamwork

This week, Mr Julyan, from Paignton Academy facilitated some sports sessions in school. Children from Barn Owls, Woodpeckers, and Buzzards enjoyed a variety of sports activities aimed at developing concentration, teamwork, and coordination. The pupils had a fantastic time trying new activities, and building their confidence while staying active.

Mr Julyan also provided training for our Sports Ambassadors. As part of their training, they joined the sports sessions to help lead activities and promote enjoyment. The training increased their confidence and enhanced their communication skills. Mr Julyan was very impressed with their enthusiasm and curiosity to learn new skills. He said they asked some great questions. The ambassadors also spent lunchtime organising games and promoting participation, with the support of Mr Julyan. He was impressed by their commitment to creating engaging games, promoting friendship, and helping to ensure every child has a great time during playtime.
