Responsibility

Responsibility

November 3, 2025

This half term, our School Value is Responsibility. We are encouraging all our pupils to understand what it means to take responsibility for their actions, their learning, and the wider school community. Responsibility is about being reliable, making good choices, and taking care of ourselves, others, and our environment.

Throughout the half term, the children will explore responsibility in many ways – from looking after their classroom and school resources, to supporting each other in their learning, and taking an active role in helping the community. They will also learn how being responsible links to our School Value of Respect and our School Aim ‘Be a Good Citizen.’

We hope that by focusing on responsibility, our pupils will develop the confidence and self-discipline to make thoughtful choices, contribute positively to the school, and understand the impact they can have on the world around them.
