School Council News

Our School Council representatives have been working hard behind the scenes to help improve lunchtimes for everyone across the school. They have been meeting regularly to discuss how the Asda Cashpot money can be used in the most effective way. To make sure everyone’s voice was heard, the reps carried out surveys to find out what children already enjoy about lunchtimes and what could improve them further. Using the results, they’ve researched and selected some fantastic new equipment to help make playtimes more fun, active, and inclusive for all. These improvements are not only great for encouraging active play, but they also help children build friendships, teamwork, and social skills out on the playground; it is a wonderful example of our school aim Love to Learn. The School Council cannot wait to share the exciting new purchases with the rest of the school very soon.
