Unit 4 Bikeability

This week, some of the Unit 4 children took part in the Level 2 Bikeability Course. The children had the opportunity to venture out on the road in our local area with the instructors to experience what it is like to cycling around cars and pedestrians. This taught the children the importance of road safety and sharing the roads with other vehicles. The children have demonstrated their School Value of Respect to the instructors, each other, and people in our local community.

Bikeability training equips our children with vital life skills - not only learning to ride a bike safely, but also gaining independence, responding to risk, and growing in confidence - all key characteristics of Being a Good Citizen, which is one of our School Aims. Well done Unit 4!
