Young Voices

What an unforgettable experience for our 13 amazing Year 5 and 6 pupils who represented Preston Primary School at the Young Voices Concert at Birmingham's BP Pulse Live Arena last week.
They joined other Connect Academy Trust pupils, and approximately 6000 children from across the country, to perform as part of one of the world's largest school choirs - an unforgettable and truly breathtaking experience for everyone involved.
Over the last couple of months, the children worked tirelessly to learn 13 songs, to include a sea shanty medley, Shackles (Praise You), and Something Inside So Strong. All the hard work paid off when they gave the performance of a lifetime at the concert. Our children demonstrated all of our School Values throughout the entire trip, representing our school with such pride. To make the event even more special, the children enjoyed a memorable overnight stay at a Youth Hostel, turning this musical celebration into a true once in a lifetime experience!
Well done to all the children who took part, we are so proud of you!
We would also like to thank the incredible teaching staff who worked tirelessly to support the choir and accompanied the children on the trip - thank you to Mrs Fox, Mrs Johns, and Mrs Bastin.
