30 Ways to Connect - Visit a place of worship

Our Foundation Stage children had a wonderful visit to St Paul’s Church where Reverend Nathan and other members of the community welcomed us with kindness and enthusiasm. The children enjoyed a tour of the church, sang songs together and even shared a hot chocolate and biscuit. They showed such respect throughout the visit, asking thoughtful questions and listening carefully to the answers. It was a joyful experience that helped them understand more about their local community and linked to our curriculum learning about different celebrations. This visit relates to number 16, ‘Visit a Place of Worship’ on our 30 Ways to Connect enrichment commitment to the children in our Trust.
