Love to Learn

It has been a joy to welcome our new Foundation children and their families to Preston. The children have settled in beautifully — from confidently finding their coat pegs to navigating the dinner hall with their trays in hand!

They have been busy exploring their new surroundings, learning daily routines, and forming new friendships. Highlights of their first weeks include visits to the Woodland Camp and the library, as well as their very first PE lesson. A particularly exciting moment was meeting Nugget, our friendly guinea pig, who has been delighted by all the attention!

At Preston, our aim is for every child to Love to Learn, and it’s been wonderful to see this already shining through in their curiosity, enthusiasm, and growing independence. We are incredibly proud of how well the children have embraced school life.
