Music Enrichment

A massive thank you to Bay Brass for an inspirational, entertaining and fun afternoon with Unit 2! We enjoyed a live performance with many songs the children recognised. This is another great example of our 30 Ways to Connect, number 1 – see a live show.

It was great to see so many of the children using their music enquiry learning by tapping their feet to the beat or nodding their heads in time with the music.

The children loved having a go at playing the brass instruments themselves! They really showed our School Value of Respect, as they patiently waited their turn, and were polite and thankful to all the musicians. They showed great Determination blowing and concentrating on the shape of their mouth when playing. We had some incredibly loud sounds!  

Thanks again to all the musicians involved, we really appreciate your time and dedication in bringing the joy of live music to our children.
