To support our school aims Love to Learn and Ready for Work, yesterday, the children in Foundation were tour guides! The parents and carers came into the classroom and the children gave them a personalised tour of the learning environment. The children prepared a tour guide tick sheet, as well as some key vocabulary and stem sentences to use. The tour enabled the children to use the skills of Oracy by talking about their experiences of school so far. They have only been in school for five weeks but are already showing great responsibility for their learning environment. It was wonderful to hear the children talk so positively and feel proud to be part of the Preston family. Well done Puffins and Penguins.
