Theatre Trip

To link with their learning enquiry, ‘Once Upon a Time’, Foundation children enjoyed a trip to the Theatre Royal Plymouth today to watch a live performance of The Three Little Pigs. The children were captivated by the show and intrigued by the puppeteers. There was lots of fun, laughter, and audience participation. The children enjoyed learning 'the wolf drill' with the three little pigs.

It was wonderful to hear all the rich conversations between the children when they were sharing their favourite parts of the show. One of their favourite characters was the Big Bad Wolf! The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and said it was the best day ever.

Visiting a theatre is a great way to enhance our curriculum and a great example of our school aim, ‘love to learn’.  The children demonstrated our school values, Respect and Responsibility, throughout the trip. They were great ambassadors for the school.
