Woodland Camp Adventures
In Unit 2 we have been enjoying weekly trips to our Woodland Camp area. Here, the children are free to explore this wonderful area and create their own learning with their peers. Children have enjoyed serving us ‘ice cream’, playing birthdays, conducting archaeological digs, building their own bug hotels, and using the natural materials to conduct science experiments. One example was ‘how many twigs and leaves will it take to unbalance a rock?’ The answer was a lot! The children really enjoy this part of our week and many look forward to it. We can see the children developing their social skills, resilience and creativity, all of which will benefit them greatly in class.
