Foundation Stage Weekly Newsletter
Puffins and Penguins Weekly Newsletter, 19th July 2019
Dear Parents and Carers,
This will be the last newsletter of the year. We would like to take this opportunity to say it has been a privilege supporting your children in their first school year. What a wonderful fun filled year it has been, so much fun and laughter. To see all the children grow in confidence has been a true delight. We wish them luck on their onward journey through school. Thank you for all your support and kind words. The partnership between yourselves and school is so important for your child’s development, it has been a pleasure.
To end a wonderful year, Puffins and Penguins went to the beach this week. How lucky we are to live in such a beautiful part of the world, we took full advantage of it. The children were incredibly well behaved and sensible, a credit to the school. They demonstrated all of our dinosaur school values. It was fun creating dinosaur art and sand castles, they even made a dinosaur watering hole! The adults were having just as much fun.
Please come along to our Foundation End of Year Celebration Assembly, Tuesday at 2.30pm in the hall. The children would like to share their reflections on the year, they have been practising hard. If anyone has any child dinosaur costumes they would be happy for us to borrow for the assembly please could you bring them in on Monday.
Term ends on Thursday 25th July. We hope you have a wonderful Summer holiday, and we look forward to seeing you on Wednesday 4th September.
