Police Visit To Foundation
As part of our learning ‘When I Grow Up’, Foundation had a visit from Devon and Cornwall Police this week. The children had the opportunity to ask questions and learn about how to keep themselves safe. The Police talked about how they use the 4C’s, (Communication, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Creativity) in their role and how to be a good citizen.
The children were able to sit in the Police car, and they were very excited by the loud sirens. They also had the opportunity to try on different uniforms. The Officers explained the many different roles within the Police force and the future opportunities for every child. Thank you to Mr Fairclough and colleagues for a fun and informative visit.
