Doctors visit
This week, Puffins and Penguins enjoyed a visit from the doctors, learning about our ears, our heart, and how to wash our hands properly. We looked at the equipment in a doctor’s bag and talked about what it was used for. Then we took our toys to the ‘Teddy bear Hospital’! Each teddy had their heart listened to and had a ‘pawscription’ written for them. They also had a plaster or a bandage to help them feel better. We had such a fun and informative afternoon. Lots of the children are now inspired to be a doctor when they grow up! The visit tied in perfectly with our ‘When I grow up…’ learning experience, as well as our school aims of ‘Love to Learn’ and ‘Ready for Work’.
