'What is Roman art?'

In Unit 3, we have enjoyed a Long Enquiry entitled ‘What is Roman art?’ as part of our Art Curriculum. The children have learnt some vital skills including colour mixing, printing, layering of different materials, and collage. To facilitate this learning, the children were inspired by Roman designs and their myths and legends. The children experimented with pixel art, paper collage, cellophane collage, and string printing. They then had the opportunity to design and create their final piece using any of these mediums and techniques taught.  We have been really impressed with the independence and creativity shown by all the children in the Unit.
