Civic Award Fayre

On Wednesday afternoon, the Year 6 children participating in the Civic Award held their Civic Award Fayre to raise money for a charity of their choice. The children created amazing things to sell, including cakes, sweets, and bracelets. We also had children who made games for other children to try and win prizes.

We believe that the Civic Award is important for the children to take part in as it supports them in showing our School Aim of Being a Good Citizen. The fayre is a prime example of children thinking about others, and displaying our School Value of Responsibility - they were all keen to raise as much money as possible for their chosen charities and ran their own stalls.

Thank you to all the families who came to support the Year 6s. Well done to all the Year 6 children who took part; you were all amazing!
